You’re sweet,” Warrick says, nudging him softly in the ribs and blowing little puffs of air against his neck.
“The fuck I am,” Jim says, defiantly.
“You are,” Warrick crows this time. “Sweet all over.” He trails off suggestively.
“I’m not sweet. I’m not. I don’t do that hearts and roses shit. You know that.”
“But you pick up the dry-cleaning. Change tires. Bring home takeout.” Warrick counts off.
“That’s disgusting! Sweet isn’t even in my vocabulary.” Jim replies, steadfastly.
“Sweet,” Warrick bops him on his nose, pulls him closer for a real kiss.
Jim’s looking at him dubiously, but allows the kiss. Jim really hates Valentine’s Day.
Fuck! Jim thinks, no, he knows to expect roses in the morning.
